Diplomats Capo let's fans know that their 4th of July will be sound tracked by the Harlem crew.
Jim Jones just dropped his latest album this week but he’s already looking forward to a future project. Yesterday, he revealed to Vibe that his recently reunited crew, the Diplomats, is planning to release its first set of new material since their regrouping.
The project is an EP entitled Independence Day and it’s set to see release on July 4th, of course. Jones states that record will see contributions from himself, Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, and Freekey Zekey. The Harlem emcee told Vibe that this time around the Dips are treating each other a little differently, saying, “The difference is the respect level that’s there amongst of all us. Feels good.”
Jones’ aforementioned new solo release, Capo, is his fifth overall. It features contributions from Game, Raekwon, Wyclef, and his Dipset partner Cam’ron.
